Brandi's Tip of the Day: The not spam comments that end up in spam

Check your spam comments! I haven't done it in a while, but for some reason, it had 4 of my usual commenters in the spam box, and someone recently told me that I ended up in theirs :(  :(  :(

I don't know how Wordpress does it but on blogger:
-Go to blogger home
-on the list where it shows the list of your blogs, you will see a gray drop down menu

Then you can check to make sure that they are all valid spam comments. If they aren't click the button that says not spam.

  1. That happened to me a while ago, comments from a blogger who was regularly commenting on my blog ended up in the spam, every single time! Now I check more regularly.

  2. Thanks so much! I just found a few hidden comments myself aha

  3. Great tip! We always find legit comments in our spam folder; it's so frustrating! Sometimes it's usual commenters, and sometimes it's new people. The only way to avoid it is to check on it.

  4. Wordpress has you authorize someones comment the first time, after that they seem to always go through (but I've only been using it since the beginning of the year, so I can't be 100% sure on that). I still get comments on the blogger site that are obviously spam and it only catches about 50% of them!

I would love to hear from you! (I always try to visit your blog back) I love links, so feel free to link to your blog or a post you like.
Sorry, but I am award and tag free zone, I do not have the time to return. Comments are reward enough :)
