Last Week on the blog:

My week: Good, I got my fabulous new design with the help of a sweet friend. I've done some work on it thanks to some tips from Kimba and Ashley's blogs.  Sara took the picture for my blogger, and showed me how to use the basics of Pixlr as well as some of the features I wasn't aware of for blogger customization. I wanted something a bit simpler and I'm in love. I made my new social media icons, and rating system.

What are you reading? Any of my books new to you or have you read any of my books? If so, what did you think?
Also, feel free to link up your blog and mailbox post.

  8. I need help in redesigning my blog too! It's time, I'm either lazy, busy, or not feeling well and I can't around to doing it. Sigh, I hope I get to complete that task before the year ends. Eager to see the finished product!

  11. Congrats on the new design!!! Plus, well done on making your icons. I'm so bad at that, they always end up being different sizes and just looking awful haha

  19. Oh man, it is time consuming. I have found myself spending time on it all the time.

  20. Thanks, I was hoping it wouldn't be too confusing for readers, so did name change last week and then design, but no plans to change url right now.

  21. Thanks Laurel. I liked it but not as much as her first

  25. Congrats on the new design! I like it a lot :) I loved The Winner's Curse! And eventually, at some point in my life, I will read What I Thought Was True. I just can't seem to find the time! And not having a copy doesn't help LOL. Have a fabulous week, Brandi!

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

  27. I'm loving the new look Brandi. I often contemplate making a huge change, like going to WP but I don't want to lose all the traffic. Do you use a plug in to get the book details in your review posts? I manually put everything into my posts, but I know Kimba has it easy... It makes me wonder whether it would be worth it.

Thanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!

  28. Thanks! No, I don't have a plugin. I put it in myself, but I get most of the info from Goodreads. Which I just read Kimba's (i think) post about downloading pic instead of just copying from GR, so that is another step

Sounds like you had fun with the designing! I loved doing mine, you definitely learn some things when you do things yourself. :) I've read The Winners Curse and Between the Lives which I really enjoyed, can't wait for The Winners Crime! :D

  32. Great haul this week, Brandi. I look forward to seeing what you think of The Winner's Curse.

I love your new look, too. It's very easy on the eyes.

  33. I used to do that, but I can't get much in the way of downloads at home, so I have to copy/paste the pics...
