Booking through Thursday 2/23

Check out here for the question and to link up your post.
What do you look for when reading a book blog? Does the blogger have to read the same genre? Do you like reviews? Personal posts? Memes? Giveaways? What attracts you to a book blog?
Honestly, I visit book blogs the most because they have commented on my blog. 2nd most I visit because of giveaways. 3rd is when I am looking for reviews of a book I just finished to see what others thought after I wrote my review.
Otherwise: I prefer bloggers who have at least similar taste so I can see what they think about a book I'm on the fence about or I will try a book they rave about if I've dismissed for whatever reason.
Reviews and giveaways are the top thing that will keep me coming back to a blog besides those who visit me first, because I always try to return comments.

What about you?

  1. I make sure to at least try and return the favor if someone takes the time to visit my book blog and offer a comment. And I will admit that I was first attracted to giveaways but my TBR is so huge as it is I probably don't need to keep feeding it. (Yet I do!)

  3. Yeah, I tend to stick mainly with blogs that have similar tastes with me.

I would love to hear from you! (I always try to visit your blog back) I love links, so feel free to link to your blog or a post you like.
Sorry, but I am award and tag free zone, I do not have the time to return. Comments are reward enough :)
