I saw this on a few stacking the shelves posts but never read the synopsis or heard of it before that. Sounds really good! I like books with characters overcoming tragedies and hardships to grow and find new meanings in life. Thanks for sharing!

I really want to read this one too. I am encouraged by the fact that the publisher is Katherine Tegen as I've had good luck with their books lately.
