Advice on Reader Replacement

I know that a lot of people like Bloglovin... but it doesn't work for me. I want to be able to have my lists--I have a group of bloggers that I want to see *just* their content. Not everyone I am subscribed to...
So Feedly works for that.

But. Feedly doesn't have a search function like I want. I like to be able to search said group of bloggers... Say I am thinking about reading Twilight, and I just want to see reviews from that group...

Any insight? Am I missing a functionality from Bloglovin or Feedly? Or am I going to have a very bad day when Reader shuts down.

  2. I know you can add blogs to different groups on Bloglovin, though I don't think you can have them in more than one group.
I have mine separated by book blogs/authors/makeup blogs.

    1. There isn't a way to search the specific groups though. :(

  3. I didn't even know you could search blogs you follow for a particular book! WHAT???? Amazing... and of course I find out about this when Google Reader is going away. :(

  5. I have really been missing the search feature as I use feedly-maybe that's something they can add if enough people suggest it?

  6. I never knew Google Reader even had a search function. :D

I have blogs sorted into lists on Bloglovin but I haven't tried searching them. I personally find Bloglovin easier to use than GR for making lists and adding a blog to a list.

Good luck finding what you want, it must be out there somewhere.

  7. I have not really played around with feedly and bloglovin yet so I can't say, but I get the feeling. I want things just right too

  8. I like bloglovin, you can add blogs to 'groups' which are like folders on your pc, and then just look at the posts from that group. I've no idea about searching for particular posts though!
