My week: Crazy. I took topamax for my chronic migraines and it made me really depressed and messed with my cognitive function, and I am still not really back to normal.

What are you reading? Any of my books new to you or have you read any of my books? If so, what did you think?

  7. I have Stained on my list- it sounds very intense- but powerful.

Migraines are terrible. I am so sorry you have them and that you had a bad reaction to the medicine. I hope you feel like yourself soon!

  16. Once We Were and Tumble & Fall are both on my TBR lists, but I heard mixed things about the latter. Hope your migraines are better, I get them as well and got a new med that has been working pretty well for me. They are not fun =(

  20. I love the sound of Tumble & Fall and have wanted to check it out for a while but the reviews haven't exactly been glowing, so I've been putting off reading it. Which is a shame because the plot sounds SO cool. What did you think of it?

  24. I hope you feel better soon. I get headaches but nowhere near on the scale that you must suffer. Headaches of any kind really ruin a book night!

  30. Hey Brandi- The other name for Topamax is Stupimax- I'm on it and it does get better. The side effects are bad, soda tastes awful, you're brain is sluggish, depression, but it does go away if you can stand it. So sorry you've been through this. I wouldn't wish those first weeks on anyone. I used to cry before I took my dose. It does get better.
