I know that there are several memes going around about getting to know the blogger outside of books, but I am doing it because Lexxie from (Un)Conventional Book Views feature Up Close and (un)Conventional.
So, another thing that you maybe didn't know about me is that I am a gamer. Not hardcore, but I play RPG esp co-op video games, and lots different card and board games.
Some of my faves :
Ascension is a deck building game and me and my husband play a lot together.Another good one, also a card game:
We have quite a few sets of Munchkin, but this is my favorite edition overall because you can be a pirate and get more of the treasure cards, making it a little easier to win at times.In video games, we love the hack and slash dungeoun crawlers. Especially the ones that were co-op for four players when me and the hubs would have some of our best friends that now live in SC come play with us. I actually did a post on the co-ops a while back
Dark Alliance and 2 as well as Champions of Norath were the perfect kind of video game for us togetherAlso, we loved Elder Scrolls, esp Skyrim except when we got stuck on bloody mountains or would end up falling to our death...

I like to play Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty Black Op. My husband and son are part of a clan for Call of Duty, so gaming it pretty big at our house. :)

ReplyDeleteI've never been much of a gamer, but my kids are. They're obsessed with Mine Craft. I've always been partial to board games like Candy Land and Life. lol

I'm not really a gamer, I used to play a lot with my cousins (pretty much anything) but I got rid of most of my stuff last year. Haven't played any board games for years either, though I think the last was Monopoly, haha. I prefer cards, though haven't done that for a while either. (

ReplyDeleteI have never been into games. I hate board games which stinks since my kids love them and I just have to suck it up. My husband likes video games but I hate them. He plays mostly shooter games. If I were to play a video game it would be something like Skyrim but I would rather read... Thanks for sharing a bit of yourself!

ReplyDeleteI Love Skyrim! What a great game! But my darned horse would always run off. Useless beastie. But a really good story to go along with it. I don't have anyone to play board games with at the moment, which is sad because there are SO many I want to try out! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteSkyrim always looks so intriguing! I used to play a lot of video games when I was younger, until my brother moved. Now I'm a bit more content to watch other people play a story-centered type of game (like Drake's Uncharted games), since it would take me an eternity to beat those types of games.
ReplyDeleteCool, my hubs used to be a gamer too, first person shooters, Call of duty mostly but we've played games together. I like playing too but I don't have time. I barely have time to myself with the 2 kiddos running around they're ages 3 boy & 1 girl. My hubs can't even play anymore cause the kids are all over him when he gets home, lol. They're obsessed with him. We have a PS3 which is mainly used to movies & Netflix now, & he wants the next one for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHubs & I like to go on our boat with the kids of course, we also have a pool at home & the kids love that. It's the perfect temperature right now for it, here in Florida. Our lives are basically revolves around our kids for now until they get a little bit older. We like to go to Orlando to Disney which is always fun. We're going to Tampa next month for a signing and in the end of November for Halloween, we're doing Magic Kingdom at night with the Christmas lights and we go for Halloween cause there's this cool town that all the houses decorate & it's really cool.
