$10 Amazon Gift Card and ebook Giveaway and Interview: Dawn of the Apocalypse by E.S.P.

Dawn of the Apocalypse
Dawn of the Apocalypse by E.S.P.

These are just a few of the days humans prophesied as bringing catastrophic events that would end the world. We predicted nuclear warfare. Drastic climate change. A call from God.
We were wrong.
Cue the gargoyle invasion—laboratory bred mutants designed to slaughter humans. When the government goes AWOL and gargoyles are swarming by the hundreds, it's up to the citizens of the United States to regroup and save themselves.
Meet Cliff Matthews, a teenage boy separated from his entire family with the exception of his younger sister, whom he is desperate to keep alive. Along the quest to save their lives, he encounters people who aren't all that they seem. Everyday's a battle, but if he can't trust his own species, where does that leave his family?
And we can't forget the man who may be willing to sacrifice Cliff's life, if it means world domination.
In terms of doomsday, no one could've seen this coming. The dawn of the apocalypse…

interview with Blkosiner's Book Blog

--Which character would you most/least like to have dinner with?
I would most likely have dinner with Angel. Even though she is Cliff's sister and very young, she's still is a lot of fun. I'd least likely have dinner with Regan. You'll learn of him when you read the book (and I hope you do read) He's one scary dude.
--Do you have any other works in progress? Any teasers or release dates?
Well I do think there will be another edition to the Dawn of the Apocalypse series, depending on how the readers enjoy the first one. I'm not giving anything away, but I think you guys might enjoy it even more than the first book.
--What book(s) is your book’s “cousin”? (Similar kind of read, set-up or style)
Gone by Michael Grant. Though we are nowhere near the same genre, his book is set up in a countdown type style instead of chapters. My book is organized by dates and times, instead of chapters.
--What are some of your favorite books? Do you still have much time to read?
Some of my favorite books are Fatal by T.A. Brock, Submerged by Nicole Soban, Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry, the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Glimpse by Steven Whibley, and the Clique Series by Lisi Harrison. Being a book blogger and reviewer, I always find time to dedicate to my reading.
--If a fairy godmother told you could be put into the world of your favorite book for 24 hours, which book would you pick and why?
Rot and Ruin. It would be super fun to hunt and kill zombies.
--Do you need anything to write (music, coffee, etc)? Are there any songs on your playlist- songs that inspired you or that were playing while you wrote?
Anything besides my laptop is just a distraction to me. I always work better without added electronics. One song I love, and would be great for the soundtrack of this book if it was made into a movie, is Letters to the Sky by Civil Twilight. This song has also been an inspiration for another book that I plan to write. It's has to be my favorite rock song. Color Than Me by Michael Posner (the Boson Remix) has also been a jam track when I'm writing.
--If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
Flying. Because I'm late everywhere and that would be super helpful.
--Besides writing, what do you like to do in your free time?
I love to read, but that's a given. I also love watching eighties, lifetime, and low budget movies.
--Is there anything else you want to add or say to your readers?
I really hope you enjoy Dawn of the Apocalypse. And don't be shy. I want to here what you have to say so please talk to me about it!

  2. I would definitely love flying as well! I'm not an author, but I feel like anything else besides the laptop would be distracting as well. I know I try to eliminate distractions while I'm working. Excellent interview ladies, and thank you so much for the giveaway! Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.
