Review: Bite Club by Rachel Caine

Bite Club (The Morganville Vampires #10) by Rachel Caine
After discovering that vampires populate her town, college student Claire Danvers knows that the undead just want to live their lives. But someone else wants them to get ready to rumble.
There's a new extreme sport getting picked up on the Internet: bare—knuckle fights pitting captured vampires against each other—or humans.     I wanted to read Bite Club because I have so thoroughly enjoyed this series. I love the characters, the pacing and plot and the romance. Rachel Caine consistently grows the characters and gives them new challenges to overcome.

Karen at For What It's Worth and Mary at The Book Swarm occasionally post twitter-style reviews. Karen calls hers Short and Tweet, and I am going to borrow that review style here.

Short and Tweet (or two):
Radical changes I wanted things back to normal right away. Claire has so many hard choices and stuff going on. We get Shane's point of view occasionally in this one and adds a quick and hard understanding.
Bottom Line: Still loving this fast paced series!

My question to you, my lovely readers:
Does the idea of fight club appeal?

  1. I don't like violence in general, however I thought I would never like the movie Fight club and I adored it, so.... who knows ;) And maybe reading it creates more of a distance than if you actually see it !

  2. Nope, it doesn't appeal to me, I mean, sometimes on Shows and stuff, but otherwise, nope.

  3. I'm so happy you are still loving the series and that there are enough books that you can binge read! That's always fun.

  5. You're almost caught up.

On another note, it's great of you to give credit to Karen for your short reviews. Some people needs to acknowledge it when they borrow shit from people.

  9. This series sounds soooo good. Getting the extra POV seems to have helped flesh out the storyline. Great quick review!
