Giveaway: Nobody and Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Nobody

Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
There are people in this world who are Nobody. No one sees them. No one notices them. They live their lives under the radar, forgotten as soon as you turn away.
That’s why they make the perfect assassins.
The Institute finds these people when they’re young and takes them away for training. But an untrained Nobody is a threat to their organization. And threats must be eliminated.
Sixteen-year-old Claire has been invisible her whole life, missed by the Institute’s monitoring. But now they’ve ID’ed her and send seventeen-year-old Nix to remove her. Yet the moment he lays eyes on her, he can’t make the hit. It’s as if Claire and Nix are the only people in the world for each other. And they are—because no one else ever notices them.

My question to you, my lovely readers:
Have you ever felt like no one sees you?

  1. Haven't read this yet but do have the first book in my TBR mountain. Sounds kind of sad, just in the sense that no one ever sees them because of who they are. But I can see why they use it to their advantage!

  2. Haven't read this one yet, but the idea sounds very intriguing and I can't wait to see how the whole idea spans out in the book. And the characters' relationship seems very intense and unique. I am very much looking forward to this one!

  3. I have often felt like no one "see's me", sometimes prefer it that way as a matter of fact as staying out of the spotlight suits me just fine.

I would love a chance to explore Claire and Nix's story even though know it will make me cry if I do!

  4. I think it would be great to be able to choose whether people can see you or not, although that's not really the question. Thanks for hosting the giveaway. These both look like pretty cool books. Happy 2013!!

  5. I haven't read Jennifer yet, but I've head a lot of things (good and bad) about her and definitely need to check her books out!

Yes, I definitely go through periods where I feel like no one sees me. At least REALLY sees me. But not too often...

  9. The plot sounds quite interesting, training "nobodies" as assassins. I don't think I'm invisible all the time but the feeling does come once in a while.

They do say that you have to watch the quiet ones. ;-) Thanks for the giveaway!
