Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
There are people in this world who are Nobody. No one sees them. No one notices them. They live their lives under the radar, forgotten as soon as you turn away.
That’s why they make the perfect assassins.
The Institute finds these people when they’re young and takes them away for training. But an untrained Nobody is a threat to their organization. And threats must be eliminated.
Sixteen-year-old Claire has been invisible her whole life, missed by the Institute’s monitoring. But now they’ve ID’ed her and send seventeen-year-old Nix to remove her. Yet the moment he lays eyes on her, he can’t make the hit. It’s as if Claire and Nix are the only people in the world for each other. And they are—because no one else ever notices them.

My question to you, my lovely readers:
Have you ever felt like no one sees you?
Haven't read this yet but do have the first book in my TBR mountain. Sounds kind of sad, just in the sense that no one ever sees them because of who they are. But I can see why they use it to their advantage!
ReplyDeleteHaven't read this one yet, but the idea sounds very intriguing and I can't wait to see how the whole idea spans out in the book. And the characters' relationship seems very intense and unique. I am very much looking forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteI have often felt like no one "see's me", sometimes prefer it that way as a matter of fact as staying out of the spotlight suits me just fine.
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to explore Claire and Nix's story even though know it will make me cry if I do!
I think it would be great to be able to choose whether people can see you or not, although that's not really the question. Thanks for hosting the giveaway. These both look like pretty cool books. Happy 2013!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Jennifer yet, but I've head a lot of things (good and bad) about her and definitely need to check her books out!
ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely go through periods where I feel like no one sees me. At least REALLY sees me. But not too often...
The book looks great. I never really feel like nobody sees me, but I always feel that nobody listens to me.
ReplyDeleteSometimes yes, although more often I wish that nobody could see me!
ReplyDeleteWow this sounds really good! I haven't read any of them. Great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck people! :)
The plot sounds quite interesting, training "nobodies" as assassins. I don't think I'm invisible all the time but the feeling does come once in a while.
ReplyDeleteThey do say that you have to watch the quiet ones. ;-) Thanks for the giveaway!
Actually I have felt at times like no one sees me
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really interesting. Pretty different from her other books, I think. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book but it sounds great!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds really good! I'd love to read it :D
ReplyDeleteNobody sounds awesome and I love Jennifer Lynn Barnes!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a very interesting and intriguing story and an original storyline. I'm excited!!! As soon as I saw the summary, I was very interested.
ReplyDeleteI haven`t read either of these yet but I would like to. Have I ever felt like someone can`t see me? Yes totally. Though I do think that everyone has that feeling at least once in their lives.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Nobody. It sounds like such an interesting concept and I'm a huge fan of YA dystopian novels!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book but it sounds great. Big fan of YA books.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen these yet but the synopsis for Nobody sounds interesting. I'll be sure to check them both out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to try and win them!
I loved Every Other Day and want to read Nobody. It sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to read Nobody and have only heard about Every Other Day today. I don't know which one I want to read more now. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win. :)
