Follow Friday

Q: Have you broken up with a series? No, not really, but there are series that I haven't been in a rush to finish for whatever reason. Hush Hush, Delirium, Unearthly. I liked the first books, but just haven't continued.

    Unearthly was one I never finished myself either. I read the first two books on Netgalley, liked them, didn't love them. When the third book was not on Netgalley I wasn't motivated to read it elsewhere.

    I returned the follow. I haven't read any of those series but I guess I wasn't in a rush to finish the other series I mentioned on my blog too. I'd like to finish them just not enough to go out and buy them yet. Thanks for following and lovely blog you have.

    I guess I'm in the same boat. I haven't finished Hush, Hush or Delirium. I even have Requiem on the shelf. I did finish Unearthly, it was pretty good. :)

    I haven't read either Unearthly or Delirium but I've stared at their covers too many times deciding whether to start up or not. I have a few mystery series that I'm taking my time with mostly because that genre is very mood specific with me, otherwise I either quit a series or devour it. That's too black and white.     I haven't finished Delirium either. But I will. And I just finished Hush, Hush a couple months ago.

    I've been there before, the Delirium series is actually one of them. I read the first book, and I just can't really bring myself to pick up the next one, even though the first one was okay. :/

    I do that with some series, but I usually at least have the intention of eventually reading the sequels.

    I kind of have the same feeling with Hush, Hush. I really love the series, but I still haven't gotten to the last two books, but at the same time I am not necessarily in a rush to either.

    I read the first two Hush Hush books and stopped too. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish the series, but like you I'm in no rush to pick up the next book lol. I liked Unearthly a lot though!

    I type of have the same sensation with Shush, Shush. I really really like the sequence, but I still haven't gotten to the last two guides, but simultaneously I am not actually in a hurry to either.

    I haven't broken up with a series either, but I don't continue with the series if I don't like the first book. I started reading Hush, Hush but I couldn't get past the first couple chapters, I've been debating on giving it another go or so.
