My week: Toddler girl put something in her ear again so spent part of memorial day in the urgent care. Luckily this time was easier to get out. It is still so hard to watch them so upset.
My knee is doing a lot better, but I have had a lot of neck pain and headaches. I think it is a flare from the stress of knee injury, inlaws, and the disability denial.
What are you reading? Any of my books new to you or have you read any of my books? If so, what did you think?
Also, feel free to link up your blog and mailbox post.
Aw, glad your girl is feeling better. I'm sorry you still aren't feeling that good :( *Hugs* <3 I hope you will get better soon. And find lots of awesome books to read :D Happy reading sweetie. <3 (Also curious about what you thought about Hungry. I really, really hated it, lol :p)
ReplyDeleteI hope you daughter is better and hope you'll be better too soon for everything. Happy reading and have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling much better soon and that you have a lovely, stress free week! Enjoy your reading whenever you can!
ReplyDeleteHungry looks pretty interesting. I'm curious to see what you thought of it :) I hope you continue to get better. Have a lovely weekend!

Ooh, I read The Program this week! Hoping to read The Treatment soon, I just have a lot of books to get through first. Hope you enjoy any new books you get - and I hope your toddler stops sticking stuff in their ear! XD

ReplyDeleteMy STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
The Rules for Breaking is one I'm anxious for! Sorry things are stressful for you right now. I've had a headache for a week and a half, I can't imagine dealing with pain every single day and having to deal with kids. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteAaaah, you're not having a good few weeks, are you? :( I'm glad your toddler is okay and hope things improve for you. I hope you enjoy your books.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of any of those books. Have a great weekend! Hope you get some stress free time soon.

My Best Friend, Maybe looks really cute
ReplyDeleteYay for the knee getting better
ReplyDeleteOur respective book hauls will look pretty tame compared to the BEA peeps! And I hope you keep on feeling better Brandi
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books yet, but they do look good! Currently, I'm reading City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I imagine that was awful. I don't have kids yet, but it seems like each kid has to try putting small objects in random places at some point or other. Hope you feel better soon!

My kids didn't ever put things in their ears, but my niece did all the time. I was always afraid that when I babysat her she would do it. Enjoy the new books.

My kids never did that but the prospect that they might do it frightened me. It's good that your knee is doing better, so don't stress it : lay down and read ;) Have a great week !
ReplyDeleteStress can definitely cause all kinds of pain and it sounds like it was a stressful week...hope this one is better!
ReplyDeleteHungry sounds like such an interesting read. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Third Degree so I hope you did too, Brandi. I'll check out your review. :)

ReplyDeleteAw, glad your knee is better but sorry about the head and neck pain. That could definitely be stress-related!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
These are awesome books! I didn't do Stacking the Shelves post this week but it's still so good to see what everyone got! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI hope this week is better for you!! And though I haven't really seen/heard much about those books a few do look really interesting :)
ReplyDeleteMy niece had a thing about putting things in her ear and nose. She drove her poor parents crazy! We tease her about it now!
ReplyDeleteI really liked The Truth About Alice! Such a great contemporary novel. And what is it about kids putting things where they shouldn't belong?! Hope everything is okay.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend!
