HI! Welcome to my blog! I am participating in Follow Friday! It is hosted by Parajunkee's View, so hop on over and visit and join!
Please comment, link your blog, and follow, and I will be sure to return the favor.

What happened here this week:

The question this week:

Give 5 book related facts about yourself-
1- I write YA books, I'm on my 2nd, and I'm looking for the perfect agent
2- I pretty much only read YA
3- I prefer to only read one book at a time
4- I lose bookmarks like there's no tomorrow. I keep my signed ones in an envelope
5- I fall in love with book boys
What about you?

For Crazy about Books's Book Blogger Hop:

Book Blogger Hop
If I could put myself in a book series, what would I choose and why--
Probably Harry Potter. Hogwartz sounds awesome and I'd love to be able to do magic.

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loses bookmarks! Like you I keep the signed ones in a safe place, so I end up using hair-clips and random pieces of paper *shakes head* Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. hi! thanks for following my blog! pretty site! :)
    following back!

  3. Thanks for the follow, Brandi. I returned the favor ;-)

And to give you 5 book related facts about myself:

    1) I am the author of two very creepy horror books with YA appeal: Drowned Sorrow and The Strangers Outside
2)I mainly read non-fiction books; more than 50% of those is about animals
    3) I have never fallen in love with a book boy
4)The first book I have ever read was Minoes by Annie M.G. Schmidt
    5) I love to read and write in different languages: Dutch, English, French and Spanish

    Have a lucky weekend!

  4. Hey thanks for the follow! I have lost so many bookmarks that I don't even use them anymore; I (gasp!) dog ear the pages haha. Have a happy weekend!

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog and following. I'm a new follower of yours. You asked if I have a pen name, and Gabrielle Bisset is it. My first book, an adult romance titled Stolen Destiny, is set to be published by Siren-BookStrand in June.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  6. I am as bad about bookmarks, though I don't have any signed ones so not a problem there. I also fall in love with book boys, especially the ones in my own books, which is bad cause that's illegal. ;) Thanx for the follow, and it is most happily reciprocated.

  7. Just hopping by, Happy Friday. I keep all my bookmarks in a box so I don't lose them :)

  8. Hi Brandi, I am now following you back. I love the image you have in your header. What a pretty blog. Can't wait to read your blog now. Thanks for the follow and I didn't realize i missed the questions I am off to put them up now.

  9. I lose bookmarks all the time also! Thanks for following me, I am already a follower of yours. :)

  10. I'm trying to query for an agent right now as well! No bites so far. Hope you're having some luck! Throwing you some good thoughts your way to hopefully add to it! Us aspiring writers gotta stick together! :)

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old follower
    Jessica@a GREAT read

  11. Fun facts! I'm horrible with bookmarks (which is why I mostly use receipts or gum wrappers or whatever is handy)
Happy hopping! I love finding new blogs - I'm following yours now. :)

  12. Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to to find out what it is.

    Happy Hop Friday!

    Howard Sherman

  13. Thanks for coming by Brandi! I'm a new follower now :) and I definitely fall in love with book boys - I even have a series on my blog called Book Crush of the Month :D although I'm having trouble finding a March one...

  14. Thanks for stopping by at SGR :) Your blog is so nice ^.^ Im a new follower
I fall in love with book boys too... what can I do? they´re dreamy xD. And I read mostly YA too, even when Im no teenager anymore LOL.

    have a nice day!

  15. Just returning the hop and the follow! Great list!

  16. Much to my husband's dismay, I fall in love with book boys too.

  17. I don't read one book at a time, but I do make certain the ones I'm reading are totally different from each other. I also like "bookish" guys. If they don't read, I don't know .. I don't necessarily think they're 'dumb' .. but ... heck! what could we possibly talk about! :)

Harry Potter was a series that came to my mind as well, but I wouldn't be one of the cool young characters (too old), and I'd probably be someone like Ron Weasley's mum, so what fun would THAT be? :)

  18. Hogworts sounds really awesome! I hope you find the perfect agent soon, I'd love to read your published book! :)

  19. My Blog Hop answer is also Harry Potter.
I want to know, which book guys you fell in love with? I usually pick mine from Classics.

  20. Hopping back :)...That's awesome that you are a writer! I'm trying my hand at writing too!

  21. Nice the colors. Good answer for your choice.

Hope you have a fun hop.

My answer has three choices...stop by if you like.

  22. LOL-I've used socks, reciepts, a kleenex, a bracelet. Bunches of weird stuff as bookmarks :)

  23. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

    Already a follower!

I also chose Harry Potter, it has everything anyone would want :)
